Over the past year, something exciting has been happening across the East Bay.

Hundreds of neighbors and community leaders have been gathering in libraries, community spaces, and union halls to ask an important question:

What could our communities accomplish if more of our public money stayed local and worked for the people who live here?

From Berkeley to Oakland to Richmond, we shared ideas, asked thoughtful questions, and built community. We explored how public banking can help fund affordable housing, small businesses, and clean energy instead of enriching Wall Street banks and billionaire shareholders.

Every event has brought new ideas and new people who want to be part of building a stronger East Bay.
